About the Authors
Ellen Gould White (1827–1915) is the most translated female writer in history, and the most translated American author of either gender. She was the author of forty books and more than five thousand periodical articles. Through numerous compilations based on her manuscripts and articles, more than one hundred book titles are available from her writings. In 2015, Smithsonian Magazine, the main publication of the Smithsonian Institution, named Ellen G. White among its “100 Most Influential Americans of All Time.”
Denis Fortin is professor of historical theology and a former dean of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. He is an expert in Ellen White studies, having written and taught extensively in that area.
