Authors go beyond the creation-evolution debate to interact with such subjects as the fossil record, ecology and stewardship, the biology of human nature, and the human genome.

About the Faith & Learning Series

All teaching in Seventh-day Adventist institutions has an overriding goal of building faith not only in the Christian message but also in the Adventist understanding of Christianity and in its mission to the world. However, Adventist schools teach a broad range of subject matter, much of which is generally thought of as secular. The Adventist teacher must use a textbook that is written by scholars who are not necessarily believers and must deal with material that on the surface does not appear to have spiritual value.
