Larsa Year Names

Dr. Marcel Sigrist of the Ecole Biblique Française in Jerusalem analyzes the year names of the kings of Larsa during the Old Babylonian period early in the second-millennium BC. Using the same model as with the Isin Year Name list, Dr. Sigrist lists each year name in order under each king’s heading. Included is every reference to these year names and what form each takes.

About the Assyriological Series

This series publishes the Siegfried H. Horn Archaeological Museum’s cuneiform tablet collection of about 3,000 tablets. All volumes are authored by Marcel Sigrist, sometimes in connection with others. The first three volumes in the series are ready references to the list of kings of Isin and Larsa. The remaining volumes present selected groups of tablets from the Horn Museum collection. Three volumes feature Neo-Sumerian account texts and two involve Old Babylonian account texts. All volumes are published in an 8.5 x 11 inch format, some paperback and some hardcover, and many are highly illustrated.
