Neo-Sumerian Account Texts (3rd Volume)
By Marcel Sigrist
This volume focuses on the seal impressions present on many of the texts from volume one, which are taken from the Drehem Archive, dating to the Ur III period (2100–2000 BC). Marcel Sigrist provides the linguistic analysis of the tablets, some new and some overlapping with volume one, while Carney Gavin and his assistants provide detailed drawings of the seals and their associated texts.
About the Assyriological Series
This series publishes the Siegfried H. Horn Archaeological Museum’s cuneiform tablet collection of about 3,000 tablets. All volumes are authored by Marcel Sigrist, sometimes in connection with others. The first three volumes in the series are ready references to the list of kings of Isin and Larsa. The remaining volumes present selected groups of tablets from the Horn Museum collection. Three volumes feature Neo-Sumerian account texts and two involve Old Babylonian account texts. All volumes are published in an 8.5 x 11 inch format, some paperback and some hardcover, and many are highly illustrated.
