About the Author
J. C. Walton (PhD, St. Andrews; DSc, Sheffield) is Emeritus Professor of Chemistry at the University of St. Andrews. His work has earned international recognition including a Royal Society of Chemistry medal and Fellowship of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (Scotland’s National Academy). He is author/co-author of hundreds of science papers as well as the books Compact Time: Radiocarbon Dating and the Case for a Young Earth, 2nd ed. (New Creation), Free Radical Chemistry: Structure and Mechanism (Cambridge University Press), and Radicals (Cambridge Texts in Chemistry and Biochemistry) (Cambridge University Press).
